Welcome

A warm welcome to our accommodation.
We are very happy to host you and wish you a wonderful stay.
On this page you will find important information regarding your arrival and your stay.

Ordering Extras

All extras can be booked online via the Shop.

Bed Linen

Bed linen is not included by default in the booking.
For extra comfort, you can book a linen package. This package includes:

  • Duvet cover
  • Pillowcase
  • Fitted sheet
  • One large towel
  • One small towel

Pillows and duvets are provided as standard in the accommodation.
For bed sizes, please see “In the House”.

Additional Guests

The standard nightly rate is based on a stay of up to 4 guests.
Any additional guest above this number must always be declared and will be charged per person per nightregardless of age or sleeping arrangement (including babies, children, or guests sharing a bed).

The number of guests stated in the booking must always match the actual number of people staying in the accommodation.

Additional guests can be added before, during, or after the booking.
If more people are joining than originally booked, you can easily add extra guests online.

If you are unsure about the number of guests or sleeping arrangements, feel free to contact us — we are happy to help.

Each accommodation has a fixed maximum number of guests.
In some houses, additional sleeping options are available upon request.
For these extra sleeping places, guests must bring their own blankets and pillows. Please note that the accommodation is furnished for the standard capacity of 4 or 8 guests.

Pets

Pets are very welcome. Multiple pets are possible upon request.
We charge a fee of €22.50 per pet per stay.

Please inform us in advance how many pets will be joining you.
Please note: on some booking platforms, pets can be entered during booking, but the fee is not always automatically included in the total price.
Please check your booking overview to see whether the pet fees (and for how many pets) are included.

If the fee is not included or if you bring an additional pet, no problem — pets can be added online.

Please bring a blanket if your dog likes to lie on the sofa.
If the sofa is heavily covered with hair, we kindly ask you to vacuum it briefly.
Leaving the accommodation broom-clean is sufficient, also when traveling with pets.

Sauna Package

Complete your sauna experience with our sauna package.
This package includes four hammam towels and a pleasant sauna fragrance, perfect for a relaxing wellness moment in the sauna of our house in Wieda.

Tourist Tax / Guest Cards

In our houses in Wieda, Sankt Andreasberg, the Rodelhaus and House Denise, the municipality charges a tourist tax for each adult and for the first child from the age of 6.

Tips

Parking

Please note: when parking on public roads in Germany, always park in the direction of traffic to avoid fines.

Lerbach
There is one parking space halfway up the road when driving uphill.
You will find it on the left immediately after the bend, near the green bench.
Additional cars can be parked along the main road below.

We recommend parking first upon arrival, completing the key handover, and then calmly collecting, unloading, and re-parking the car later.
Please do not park on our neighbours’ property.

Lonau
You can park on the street in front of the house or at the end of our property in the parking bay.
Please keep neighbours’ driveways clear.

Wieda / Sankt Andreasberg
Two parking spaces are available.

Opposite the Matthias Schmidtberg is the entrance to our street Wäschegrund.
Drive uphill and keep to the left. There you will find a small private parking area.

From there, walk down to the left between two houses:

  • House Sankt Andreasberg (No. 14): first staircase on the right, cross the grass to the second staircase
  • Rodelhaus (No. 15): walk approx. 2 meters further to the next staircase
  • House Denise: directly on the left after leaving the parking area

In summer, you may drive up to the staircases to unload and then return the car to the parking area.
Please note: this path is very steep and turning is only possible at the end.
In winter, this path is not accessible by car.

Heating

The heating system is automated to maintain a comfortable temperature.
In the living room, the control is available for minor adjustments.

⚠️ Important:
The controls are very sensitive. Please turn only the front part gently, not the entire knob.
The other controls in the house are locked.

Please leave the white dongle in the router, otherwise the heating system will not function properly.

On departure:

  • Set radiators to level 2
  • Set wall thermostat to 15°C

Please do not create your own heating programs.

We kindly ask you to heat responsibly. We do not charge extra costs, but we appreciate mindful use.

Waste Disposal

Waste must be separated into:

  • Glass
  • Paper
  • Plastic & packaging
  • Residual waste
  • Organic waste (no plastic or paper bags)

Please ensure bins are properly closed — animals can open them.

Locations:

  • Lerbach: in the shed
  • Lonau: outside
  • Wieda: in the garage (yellow bags available)

⚠️ Do not leave food or items outside. Foxes steal food and shoes.

Winter

Snow & Winter Service

Before arrival, we try to clear the path to your house.
During your stay, guests are responsible for keeping paths clear.
Shovels and salt/grit are available near the house or in the shed/garage.

If roads or parking areas are not yet cleared, park on the main road below and try again later.
Please don’t get frustrated — enjoy the snow 🥰
You’re on holiday ❤️

Winter Tyres & Area

In winter conditions, winter or all-season tyres with Alpine symbol (3PMSF) are mandatory.
Rule of thumb: October to Easter, but actual road conditions apply.

Weather can change quickly, especially in higher areas — please do not underestimate this.
