Welcome to Platell Ferienhäuser Harz in Lerbach!

Our cozy holiday home can accommodate up to 8 people and is located on a hillside in the picturesque village of Lerbach, right in the heart of the beautiful Harz National Park. Thanks to the elevated position of the house, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding forests and mountains. With a little luck, you might even spot deer and other wildlife right from your bedroom window.

The Area

Right next to the house, you can step straight into the vast forest, home to deer, wild boar, foxes, and more. There is an extensive network of hiking trails, bike routes, and cross-country skiing tracks around the house. Lerbach is part of two of the most beautiful hiking routes in the Harz region: the Harzer Hexenstieg and the Harzer Baudensteig, which together offer more than 150 kilometers of hiking pleasure. For motorcyclists, the Harz is a true paradise with breathtaking winding roads through nature. You can securely park your motorcycle in the spacious barn. Geocaching enthusiasts will also find several interesting caches in the area, all within walking distance.

The nearby towns of Osterode and Clausthal-Zellerfeld are just a short drive away and offer plenty of opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. In Osterode, you can stroll through the charming historic town center and enjoy the local atmosphere. Clausthal-Zellerfeld is known for its beautiful nature and a variety of hiking trails. Both towns also have excellent restaurants where you can enjoy a cozy meal.

Living Area

The house features a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing with your loved ones in the evenings. Firewood is provided so you can light the fire and create an even cozier atmosphere. The living room is equipped with a satellite TV, and there is a bookshelf with a selection of Dutch and German books. For extra fun, there are also some board games available.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle, and cookware. Coffee, tea, sugar, pepper, and salt are provided, as well as toilet paper for your first day. The spacious dining area can seat 8 people, and a high chair is available for younger guests. The terrace adjacent to the dining area is perfect for eating or enjoying drinks outside with a beautiful view of the valley. The garden is enclosed and has a sunny terrace with a BBQ.

Bedrooms

The house has 4 bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. All rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. There are 2 rooms with double beds and 2 rooms with two single beds. A baby crib is also available. The bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. On the ground floor, there is an additional separate toilet with a sink.

Facilities

The house is the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time with your loved ones. There is free Wi-Fi, and for your convenience, a washing machine and drying rack are available. Pets are welcome, so your four-legged friend can enjoy the stay too. Bed linens and towels can be reserved upon request.

Our holiday home in Lonau was completely renovated in September 2019 and is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay. The house accommodates up to 8 people, making it perfect for a family or group of friends.

Relax in a Stylish Interior

The house has a spacious living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Next to the living room, there’s a separate dining room, where you can dine with 8 people and spend quality time together. The house is fully equipped for cooking, sharing meals, and making memories. Whether you’re cooking together in the kitchen or relaxing on the couch, everything you need for an enjoyable stay is here.

For extra coziness, there’s an electric fireplace, which creates a warm and inviting ambiance on chilly days. The house also offers Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and plenty of little touches that make your stay even more comfortable.

Spacious Bedrooms for Everyone

The house features 3 bedrooms, including 1 four-person room and 2 double rooms, perfect for families or groups who want plenty of space and peace. For the little ones, there’s also a baby crib available, so the whole family can feel right at home.

A Well-Equipped Kitchen and Bathrooms

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and stove. You’ll find everything necessary for cooking delicious meals. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, and even toilet paper for your first day are provided.

The house has 2 bathrooms, both with showers and toilets. Additionally, there’s a separate space with a sink by the 3rd bedroom. A washing machine and a drying rack are also available for your convenience.

The Garden and Outdoor Area

The house is surrounded by a large garden with 2 terraces, perfect for sitting outside, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the nature around you. And of course, there’s also a BBQ – the grill is provided, but you’ll need to bring your own charcoal. Enjoy the outdoors, fresh air, and the beauty of the surrounding nature. What more could you ask for?

What Can You Do in Lonau and the Surroundings?

Lonau is located in the heart of the Harz National Park, making it the ideal base for nature lovers. From the village, several beautiful hiking trails and bike routes begin, so you can explore the area without needing a car. For adventure enthusiasts, there’s plenty to do, including mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and even sledding in the winter.

Lonau itself has a restaurant, where you can enjoy local dishes and soak in the cozy atmosphere. In the summer, you can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool, and for even more fun, there’s a mini-golf course in the village. The nearby town of Herzberg am Harz, just 3 km away, offers more shopping options, restaurants, and even a cinema for an enjoyable evening out.

Charming House in Wieda – Your Cozy Retreat in the Harz Mountains

In March 2023, we acquired a wonderful house in the picturesque mountain village of Wieda. After extensive renovations, we transformed it into a modern and comfortable 4-person retreat, offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Located on one of the highest streets in Wieda, this charming house offers spectacular views of the valley below and the surrounding mountains. Thanks to its location on a sunny southern slope, the house is bathed in natural sunlight, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors.

A Cozy Escape – Inside the House

Step inside, and you’ll immediately feel at home in the spacious living room, which is tastefully modern yet cozy. The room is equipped with Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings after a day of exploring the mountains. Imagine sitting with your loved ones by the fire, enjoying the warmth and comfort of this beautiful space.

The living room also boasts a large sliding door, allowing plenty of light to flood the room and offering a stunning view over the valley. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or just relax in the sunshine.

Bedrooms & Kitchen

The house has two spacious bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (180cm wide), ensuring a restful night’s sleep for everyone. Whether you’re waking up to mountain views or enjoying a peaceful rest, comfort is guaranteed.

The kitchen is fully renovated and equipped with all the essentials to make cooking a breeze. It includes a dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, toaster, small fridge, and kettle. You’ll find everything you need, from pots and pans to plates, glasses, and cutlery.

The Winter Garden – A Special Touch

One of the unique features of this house is the winter garden, an extension that has been transformed into an inviting dining area. The space is beautifully decorated with a large dining table and comfortable chairs, making it the perfect spot for meals with family or friends. The wood paneling adds a lovely cabin-like feel, and the second fireplace in the winter garden ensures a cozy atmosphere while you dine.

Relaxation & Sauna

For an extra touch of luxury, the winter garden is home to a wood-burning sauna, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind after a day of hiking or skiing. Spacious and easy to heat, the sauna is a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate in the heart of nature.

Terraces & Outdoor Living

The house features a large sunny terrace, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Wieda Valley. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast in the morning sun or sipping a drink in the evening, the terrace is the perfect place to take in the scenery.

If you prefer some shade, there’s also a second covered terrace on the side of the house, ideal for cooler moments or when you want a break from the sun.

Wieda – A Charming Village with Plenty to Explore

Wieda is a peaceful and charming village in the Harz Mountains, offering a variety of outdoor activities year-round. Hiking, mountain biking, and skiing are popular pursuits, and in winter, the nearby slopes are perfect for cross-country skiing and sledging. There are also wonderful walking trails in the area, ideal for those who enjoy exploring nature at a slower pace.

In addition to outdoor adventures, Wieda has a number of cozy restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy local Harz specialties. The nearby towns of Zorge, Bad Sachsa and Sankt Andreasberg also offer a variety of attractions and activities, including museums, local markets, and more.

• Accessibility: Please note that the house is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, as there are 40 steps leading up to the entrance.

Our charming holiday home is located in a small holiday park in the idyllic mountain village of Sankt Andreasberg, right in the heart of the Harz. A perfect getaway where you can enjoy nature, adventure, and relaxation all year round. From the living room and terrace, you have a stunning view of the ski slope, bike park, and summer toboggan run on Matthias-Schmidt-Berg, with the picturesque valley in the background.

Sankt Andreasberg is a fantastic destination in every season. In winter, you can go skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. When the snow melts, the area transforms into a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers. The region offers scenic hiking trails, thrilling mountain bike routes, and cozy mountain huts. Looking for adventure? Try paintball, challenge yourself in the Hochseilgarten climbing park, or explore the historic Grube Samson mines. Families will love the summer toboggan run! After an active day, you can relax on the terrace with a drink and take in the fresh mountain air.

The living room is comfortably furnished with a cozy lounge sofa, a fireplace, and a TV with satellite reception. Of course, WiFi is available. The separate dining room is perfect for enjoying meals together, having great conversations, or playing a board game.

Bedrooms

The holiday home has two bedrooms:

• The first bedroom has a double bed (90×200 cm per mattress).

• The second bedroom has two single beds (90×200 cm).

All beds come with single duvets. If desired, you can reserve a linen package, including two towels.

Kitchen & Bathroom

The kitchen is modern and functional, equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. There is an oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, and kettle. Basic essentials such as coffee, coffee filters, tea, sugar, salt, and pepper are provided.

The bathroom is modern and features a shower, sink, and toilet.

Important Information

Please note: To reach the house, you must climb two long outdoor staircases. It is not possible to drive directly to the cottage by car, making it less suitable for people with mobility issues. However, free private parking is available within walking distance.

Rodelhaus Harz is a charming 4-person holiday home, beautifully situated in Sankt Andreasberg, in the heart of the Harz Mountains. Located on a hillside in a small holiday park, directly opposite the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg, this house offers stunning views and is the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure.

Sankt Andreasberg is a picturesque mountain village with exciting activities all year round. In winter, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and night tobogganing on the illuminated toboggan run. When the snow melts, the area becomes a paradise for hiking and mountain biking. Adventure seekers can test their limits at the high ropes course, try archery, or enjoy a thrilling game of paintball. A must-visit is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Grube Samson, a historic silver mine offering fascinating insights into the region’s mining history. Prefer to take it easy? Explore the charming village streets, unwind in nature, or savor a refreshing local beer in a cozy mountain hut.

Living & Sleeping

The holiday home is cozy and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The living area features a comfortable sitting area, a dining table, and a satellite TV.

There are two bedrooms:

• One bedroom with a double bed (160 cm wide)

• One bedroom with two single beds (80 cm wide each)

All beds come with single duvets to ensure a restful sleep.

Kitchen & Bathroom

The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, oven, coffee machine, kettle, and dishwasher. Of course, pans, dishes, and cutlery are also provided.

The house features a modern bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

Garden & Terrace

One of the highlights of this house is the covered terrace with an open fireplace – the perfect spot to enjoy a cozy fire, even on cooler evenings. The large, well-maintained garden offers breathtaking views of the mountains and nature of the Harz. • Parking: It is not possible to park directly next to the house, but a private parking space is available within the holiday park.

In summer, the region turns into a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers, with challenging trails through the Harz National Park.

In addition, you can try paintball, climb in the high ropes course, go archery, and visit the historic Grube Samson, a UNESCO World Heritage mine. For a more relaxing experience, you can explore the nearby mountain villages or enjoy a drink at a cozy mountain hut.

Living & Sleeping

House Denise is modern and stylishly furnished, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. The living room features a pellet stove, creating a cozy atmosphere and warmth on cold days. There is also satellite TV and free internet.

Cozy Dining Room

One of the nice features of this house is the separate dining room, perfect for dining together, playing a game, or simply relaxing. It’s the ideal spot to unwind after a busy day in the Harz!

The house has two bedrooms:

• One bedroom with a double bed

• One bedroom with two single beds

All beds are equipped with single duvets, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep for everyone.

Kitchen & Bathroom

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, oven, and cooking utensils, so you can easily prepare your meals.

The bungalow has a separate bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. Although the bathroom is not brand new, it is neat and clean, and meets all the needs for a pleasant stay.

Balcony & Garden

The house has a balcony, which is one of the best places to sit outside. Whether you want to enjoy the morning sun for breakfast or finish the day with a drink, here you can fully enjoy the fresh mountain air and the beautiful view.

There is also a small garden around the house, but it is less suitable for sitting in. The balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy the surroundings.

Accessibility & Important Information

House Denise is easily accessible, as there are no stairs to enter the house. It is also located right next to the small private parking area, so you can easily park your car.

• Parking: There is a private parking area within the holiday park where you can park your car safely.

• Internet: This house offers free Wi-Fi.

• Pets: Dogs and other pets are welcome!
