In March 2023 we bought a very nice house in the mountain village of Wieda. A lot had to be done so we used the first six months to completely renovate it.
The 4-person cottage is located in one of the highest streets in Wieda, which makes the view super. You look out over the valley from the house and the terrace. Because it is on the southern slope, it is wonderfully sunny. And if you no longer feel like sitting in the sun, there is a 2nd covered terrace on the side of the house that is in the shade.
The living room is modernly furnished and equipped with WiFi and a flat screen TV with satellite TV. The living room also has a fireplace to make it even more cozy on the cold days. Can you see yourself sitting by the fireplace with your loved ones? The nice thing is that the living room has a large sliding door with a view of the valley. That makes the room wonderfully sunny and light.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms, both with a double bed of 180 cm wide.
The kitchen has been renovated and is fully equipped! You can cook there, the dishwasher does the dishes and there is an oven. Coffee maker, toaster, small fridge and kettle are also there. As well as, of course, pans, cutlery, tea towels, plates and glasses.
You can eat together in the winter garden, which has been made winterproof, a wooden extension that is attractively furnished with a spacious dining table and comfortable chairs.
What is perhaps the best thing is that there is a wood-fired sauna that is located in the attached winter garden. Wonderfully spacious and easy to heat.
Unfortunately, this house is also not suitable for the disabled as you have to climb a staircase of 40 steps before reaching the house.
