We warmly welcome you to Platell Ferienhäuser Harz Lerbach. Our 8-person holiday home is located on the mountainside in the picturesque town of Lerbach, a small mountain village in the middle of the Harz National Park. Because the house is elevated, you have a view of the beautiful wooded area and the surrounding mountains. You stay in the middle of nature and with a bit of luck you can see the deer and other game from your bedroom window.
Environment
Next to the house you walk directly into the vast forests where deer, roe deer, foxes and wild boar have their home. There is an extensive network of hiking trails, cycling routes and cross-country ski trails around the house. Lerbach is part of 2 important hiking trails in the Harz, the Harzer Hexenstieg and the Harzer Baudensteig. Beautiful routes through the Harz, good for 150 km of walking pleasure. And for the motorcyclists among us… driving in the Harz is great in one word! Beautiful winding roads in breathtaking nature. Your motorcycle can be parked in the spacious shed. Lerbach and its surroundings are also very suitable for geocaching enthusiasts. There are a few cool caches within walking distance.
Living area
In this house you have access to a cozy living room with a fireplace where you can socialize with each other until the late hours. Firewood is provided to light the fireplace. Television can be watched via satellite. There is also a bookcase with a number of Dutch and German books to read and a number of board games are available.
Cooking and eating
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, pans and kitchen utensils. Coffee, coffee filters, tea, sugar, salt and pepper are available to a limited extent.
Extensive dining is possible in our 8-person dining room, a high chair is available for the little guests. This space is adjacent to the outdoor terrace where you can also eat or drink together. The garden is fenced and has a sunny terrace overlooking the valley. There is a BBQ.
Sleeping area
All bedrooms are spacious and freshly decorated. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and two bedrooms are on the upper floor. Both floors have 1 room with a double bed and 1 room with two single beds. There is 1 cot available.
On the first floor is the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Downstairs is a separate spacious 2nd toilet with sink. Toilet paper is available in limited quantities.
Facilities and other important info
The house is cozy and a place where you can relax and come closer together with your loved ones. One pet is allowed. The house is non-smoking, there is free WiFi and there is a washing machine and drying rack in case it is needed. You can also reserve bed linen and towels if you wish.
Please note that the house is not wheelchair accessible, you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the entrance. It is not possible to park directly next to the house. Halfway down the street is 1 public parking space that we can use and the car can be parked safely and free of charge at the bottom of the street.
